Pagadian NUJP Statement

We believe in Peace. so give us peace...we condemn the killing of Ka Ernie- NATIONAL UNION OF JOURNALIST IN THE PHILIPPINES (NUJP) PAGADIAN CITY CHAPTER

The killing of Ernesto Rollin, 52, a veteran broadcaster who has been serving DXSY 0f Ozamiz City for more than 8 years is an act of cowardice and wickedness of the perpetrator and the mastermind behind.

His murder is another tragic strike at the heart of freedom and democracy in the country. But it has weak ended the dedication and resolved of media practitioner in this part of Mindanao to continue the crusade against the malfeasance in public office, corruption and abuse of power.

The NUJP Pagadian City chapter, condemns Rollin’s murder in the most vehement and strongest term possible and will do all it can to ferret out the culprit, as well as, being the mastermind before the bar of justice, even as we urge the authorities to do the same.

We should know and better in mind that the victim shall rest in peace, but the mean malefactors will continue to lurk in fear, fear even of their own shadows and will never find peace in their graves.
