Molave. Zamboanga Del Sur – The town of Molave Zamboanga del Sur has been adjudges as 2nd Best Municipal Peace and Order Council (1st to 3rd class municipality category CY 2006) by the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
On the basis of its exemplary achievements as a prime mover in the formulations, implementation and orchestration of programs, projects, and activities for the enhancement of law and order and public safety , DILG Secretary Ronaldo Puno being the national chairman of the National Peace and Order Council indorsed the local government of Molave to be the second best MPOC.
“Molave has done its best in the effective and integrated coordination of the five pillars of the criminal justice system at the local administration is highly indicative of its continuous and unwavering commitment in the pursuit of lasting peace.” He said.
Last February 12, Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo give the award to Molave Mayor Flavio Saniel Jr. at Heroes Hall, Malacañang.
“With out the help and support of our people, we cannot make it. It is the people support that made us no. 2 best in this Municipal Peace and Order campaign” Mayor Saniel said.
